Choose your Career wisely, without losing life!!

Career.
The mere mention of the word brings chills of quivered confusion and wonder, all
at once.
The growth from teenagehood to adolescence is already difficult and mired with
battles of turmoil and melancholy associated with the stage that is. Not only the
blind dependence on parents and elders are encouraged to be slackened but
also a certain form of independence is advocated. This independence comes at a
price. And that is, one is encouraged to find one’s own path that is to mean; a
direction, a way – a career which will pay for economic independence and other
securities, perks, and benefits.
But preparing one for a career has its own set of uniqueness. You have your
degree and in tandem, you try to opt for a career that is best suited for you. If you
have a degree in English honours, your natural inclination takes you to the path
of academic or research studies, and if science, then a doctor and alike. But here
we are not about discussing what takes it to be a what but sometimes why it is
necessary to understand and accept why it doesn’t take it to be a what at times.
Not all jobs you apply to will accept you. Not all jobs that accept you will interest
you. Not all jobs that will interest you initially will continue to do so. And you will
sit and wonder. The wonder will turn into bitterness and the bitterness into anger
and regret. And at the end of it all, you will consider yourself a total failure. Is that
all that life has had to offer? Or could it have been different if you wanted? You
think of all those career advice of people asking you to fill up your resume with
shiny accomplishments. And your utter shock at lack of creativity and
independence in your choice of an option that just turned out to be a white-collar
work environment where every day for you is doing what other dictates. You
have just become an automated machine.
Warren Buffet says, “Taking jobs to build up your resume is like saving up sex for
old age.”
If you think you are not the ones to be satisfied with being an unnoticed speck in
a cubicle, you have this reading especially curated for you.Have you even wondered really hard and honestly. I mean, really really hard.
“Why am I doing whatever I am up at?”
If that question never bothered you, then you are probably happy being a puppet
under someone else’s. If you are indeed bothered and spent sleepless nights
thinking about with all consuming fire about it, you are surely destined for
greatness.
Because, if you know where and what you are looking for you will surely find it,
sooner or later. And because you have been looking for it, thinking about it,
dreaming about it, you are going to be an expert at it. Don’t worry about the mess
you were in prior that. Don’t regret the job you have been at which gave you
nothing to learn.
Don’t wait for the life to give you lemons. When you realize that you are going to
be stuck at something without your interest and will, squeeze out of it.
Yes, indeed.
You deserve to get out of any place that you don’t belong to.
But how do you you find which places you belong to? For that, you have to ask a
lot of retrospections and a load of self-piercing questions. About strength. About
values. Passion. Love. Aim. Yes, Life is not easy when it is about career but it is
never difficult if you have the right attitude and the right framework. Life never
goes wrong, the only career does.
It is not only important to think of things we want but of their worth. Whether our
desires and whims must only cater to monetary and financial success or we must
also think in humane terms about human love and bonding, care and affection.
Life is not difficult if you have your perspectives in their right stead. And a right
direction is always achieved only after careful and critical observation and study
of I, me, myself against the world.
Have a journal. MUST. Write down things you want and ways how they can be
achieved. Honest ways. Possible-dreams only. Don’t aim for dreams that don’t
have logical meaning. And also write about people that inspire you and their
qualities you want to emulate. And work for it. Really, work for it. For nothing
comes for free. Now, you might ask, many work hard, only a few reach their goal.
That has to do with the attitude towards your work, your chosen career. If you are
doing it because others wanted it for you more than you do, if you are at it
because you want to prove yourself, if you are refusing to let it go because it
makes your life very comfortable, then something is wrong in your attitude
towards life, your career. And you are never going to be great at what you do,
maybe good will be your pinnacle. Dreams come for free. Actions don’t.
Opportunities sometimes. Achievements never. So, it is very important to have
the right attitude, horne it perfect for making a living out of life.

It is important to know how to identify things that are worthy. And keep identifying
them and collecting them as means of experience until your rich haul comes
back at you with the full force of gleaming positivity that whatever you do will
surely be successful. Perfect. Unique. One’s potential is made up of the right
experiences. And right doesn’t always mean good experiences. Even the bad
ones are equally important to teach certain aspects of life that nothing will. It
helps one to mature and grow up into an understanding individual who has by
his/her side the powerful means of reflections, cautiousness, past-lessons, and
warnings of failures. A perfect life is made up of the failures accumulated during
steeping stones which become powerful means of learning lessons and if you
have the right means of identifying the “life-lessons” out of it, you will surely be
blessed.
Doing difficult things and pushing one’s boundary is what most think is not their
cup of tea. The truth is, they are plain lazy. And this evil vice has made them lie
and lie in a dormant inactive underachieved life. They either give up in the middle
of it or never start in the first place.
“Everything was impossible until somebody did it.”
